He had an update on the FVM Facebook page.  The transfer caboose is being pushed back into mid 2014 so that other projects can stay on schedule.  I'm assuming that includes the Canstock boxcar and the H30 covered hopper, but it wasn't stated.

Since Hiroshi Kato first mentioned them doing a 4-8-4 at the N-Scale convention in Houston in 1993, just after they had released the 2-8-2.

He mentioned GS-4 and FEF (and I think NYC Niagara's) as ones they would like to do... since then they have had only 2? or 3? releases of GS-4's in 20 years and no hint of FEF or Niagaras.

I wouldn't hold my breath!!!!

Ha, I've done that before, too.

I hardly go talk to manufacturers anymore at shows.   I have about as much faith in train show information as I do from used car dealers.
