Some with conspicuity stripes,  some with spreadsheets,  some without -  a mixed bag, which should be good for everyone!

Yes!  Curses!  Just when I think things are gonna cool off a bit, there's another five cars on order.   I asked for more tanks and gons and boy am I getting it!

How trustworthy has Athearn's artwork been over the years...can we trust the conspicuity striping or more importantly lack thereof?

That's a nice set of announcements from Athearn!

At this point, not much can get me to buy more rolling stock.  However, these do fill a need.

It almost looks like one scheme has with and without stripes, so you never know - maybe they used photographs...  ????

I just hope the quality holds up - these were pretty well made ...

Oh man... I really only need one. But what if some day I need more? Do I buy several now just in case, or do I buy only the one I need?!??

Too new for me, which is a pity, because I just added an LPG dealer to a siding on my layout.

Boo, All 1996+  Too new for me.. I was going to sell some of my newer cars from the first run.. I guess I'll keep the 1992s and still sell the rest.    And keep an eye out for modern schemes on the Atlas Car.

Cool Announcement.. Wish I could buy some, very detailed on what they are producing.. Hope this continues.

I'm using modelers license here, so they're ok for 1987-89. CN has always done a brisk business in LPG here in eastern Canada and one can only have so many whale belly cars running around.

That may be true, but if Atlas upgraded their old Whale Belly tooling I'd be all over them.  As it is I'll need three or four of these when Chuck posts the pre-order.

Yes, I was about to post this link as well.   Actually great info and explains in detail which cars have what and their era.   Talked me out of two but I added back one of the "100" cars which I was on the fence about.  The other two were barely out of my era and may eventually get the nod.   So I'm down to four which is fine with me....I REALLY have to stop the bleeding.
