hmm... It's actually showing up at the bottom of the first post of each thread.   Which depending on the post, could be the middle of the page somewhere.

Heh heh. I was reading an article (major news outlet) just the other day, wringing their hands over their realization, ohmygosh, that Facebook is building digital dossiers on non-members (holy cow!).

Geez. What rock have they been under?

Nothing is safe on the Interwebs!  We're all doomed!

Facebook itself is not evil, but it is a huge enabler for people to waste their lives posting witty (and not so witty) comments and cutesy (or not cutesy) photos for all their "friends" to go "gaga" over (um, "like"), instead of just going about their daily lives (like they did in pre-Facebook time).  Same goes for all the cutesy (and addictive) Facebook games where you play with or against your "friends": Another huge time waster.  Again, Facebook is not directly to blame, but it is an enabler that sucks people in.  Then of course there is all the targeted advertising and personal information compiling...

These are contradictory.

Facebook... is... evil.

Fixed.

Unfortunatly, it is here to stay, because all the world's sheeple just can't get enough of it.

More to the point, businesses can't get enough "likes" to drive more eyeballs to their websites and spam visitors. Alas, it seems quantity trumps quality these days.
