Downtime coming
« on: June 09, 2013, 02:37:13 PM »
Expect some downtime as we migrate to newer servers over the next few days.  I'm not switching hosts; my host is upgrading to new hardware.

Hmmm... favicon.ico was apparently populated with the server transfer. Tom's smiling countenance now graces my menu bar.

Yeah, I usually open up all unread in their own tabs. I had a bunch of Tom's heads across the top of my browser,

Really?  I don't notice anything different (slower or faster).

Anyone else?

It seemed pretty slow the majority of yesterday and this morning but appears to be fine now.

I too have noticed it to be  s l o w  for the past few days - off and on.

added:
Right now it's typically taking 3-4 secs to load a page.  Not slow enough to be a problem, but slow enough to notice, and definitely slower than before.  Occasionally up to 10 secs to load, including the header image.  That latency is annoying.

Slow for me also but I blame it on  a new computer I have.

^^^ This. It's especially slow loading the inline editing window.

Same experience here (on multiple computers at different locations - different networks),

Any improvements? I spent some time optimizing things.
