Gents, the latest issue of Railroad Model Craftsman magazine is hitting the shelves now and the feature article is on Mark Dance's CP layout. We have all seen photos of Mark's incredible layout and this issue will not disappoint. I had the pleasure of proofing the article before the issue was sent off to the printer.
Railroad Model Craftsman magazine has always had a strong showing of HO Scale but since I have come on board as an Associate Editor, I am trying to push more N-scale into the pages. Congrats Mark, this is fine work and we are very happy to have been able to feature your layout.

Congrats Mark!
I saw the proofs for this article while I was dispatching the C&W last month. As fantastic as the concept and execution are, the raison d'etre for the C&W is ops, at which it truly shines. A world-class layout.

P.S. I didn't know you were on the RMC staff Scott. Well done.

Gary, been on the masthead of RMC for a few months now. Been with the magazine for much longer.
Besides the great layout photography, the article is a great read. You guys are going to love it.

Thank you Scott and thanks to all for the kind words. Tim's photos are beautiful (as always) and the companion prototype article by Robert Turner on CP's Boundary sub is wonderful also. Next month in RMC there will be an article by my friend Scott Calvert who has written about his HO rendition(s) of the Boundary.
It is great to see this spectacular prototype getting so much attention!

Great effort Mark (and Tim and Scott). Your modelling is superb, your layout is awesome, and I would love to come back and see it again some day. Love the red Alcos/MLWs as well. Thanks for letting us have a peek last year.
Cheers

That is one of the things that has really climbed my list of cool railroad things lately. CP alco's. Being so close to the DL here in Scranton I am getting my fill and finding that soft spot for them. Mark's are really nice and well used on the layout. Good stuff.

This notice will get my attention during the next visit to the LHS.
I dropped my subscription because of lack of n-scale coverage.

Roger, I am working on that lack of N-Scale thing!
The April issue has Alvin HO's modeling of the Rock Islands's Quad City Rocket in N-scale. Very nice build (engine + passenger cars).
