The MoPac caboose looks interesting - one of those undec might be the right size to bash a KCS Porthole  style caboose

That NYC box would be useful as a predecessor road car for my Conrail fleet.  I was just thinking last month about how I had a disproportionate amount of PRR for my 1980 versus other pre-merger roads.

I know it was around in 1971, the year I'm modeling. I think it might have first appeared in 1969, but I have a terrible memory, so don't quote me on that.

I have the BNSF covered hopper coming from Medford.I find it rather interesting the number of these cars that show up in my West Michigan city. :D

I agree, and I like that MTL always has something to offer those of us who model north of the border.

That said, the rivet counter on my shoulder tells me the prototype for those centrebeams are 73' long not 61'8" (which may explain why I recall Red Caboose releasing this same scheme a few years back)
