And now for something completely different... views of railfans from the train. We had the luck/pleasure of being on Amtrak #11 during its first detour due to trackwork on the coast line last week. First two shots are from Altamont Pass over the ex-WP, the first with some illegal parking on the shoulder of the freeway:
