"Show unread posts since last visit" is still there for me, Bob.  I use that all of the time and would miss it, too.  Is the forum still acting up for you or has it corrected itself?

Dave for some reason I have to go back to home and then to unread topics.  The unread topics which was on the top and not there anymore.  Was there this morning.  Weird *****.

There is a little arrow in the upper right corner of the page.  If it's pointing down, try clicking it.  If it's pointing up already, then I can't help you.

You're not alone. It's subtle. On my Firefox it's also located where the Ghostery panel pops-up, so if I mis-hit the Ghostery panel to dismiss it, I tweak the arrow thingie, too.   Really minor, just an "Oh... OK" to remember.
