Or you could say that Skibbe likes to give Joe the business.
Hi Guys,Wanted to announce our(MTL) next release, The Evans 100 Ton Log Car in N scale. No release date yet, but these came in a variety of East Coast flavors <Snip>CheersJoeMTL
Those look to be a more than acceptable stand in for the CPR cars.... this might hurt.....Thanks for the heads up Joe; now, if you'd just forget that "Standard Railroad" nonsense and tool that there diner for the "World's Most Complete Transportation System" then we'd be properly giddy...... EDIT: How long are these things; the 304600 series of CP Rail cars ar 62' long with 8 fixed stakes, these look longer.
Pud, I think the 304600 series are bulkhead flats... are you referring to the 305560-305609 series?http://freight.railfan.ca/cgi-bin/image.pl?i=cp305606&o=cprailhttp://freight.railfan.ca/cgi-bin/image.pl?i=cp305594&o=cprailhttp://freight.railfan.ca/cgi-bin/image.pl?i=cp305577&o=cprailIf so, then much foob what with the stake count and the length... Railcarphotos has the GPSX 200 series as In. Length, Ft.: 65 In.: 4, Ex. Length, Ft.: 68 In.: 6. However, I'd get a few CP Rail if offered. I mean I'm going to forty or so Atlas trash flats as stand ins for CP 81' CPFC flats, so I have no apparent shame
I agree; I can live with 3 feet and a few extaa steaks...............
I skimmed this thread and didnt catch this info: when did these 1st hit the rails? Thanks!Mark
Skibbe once threatened me to a wrestling match for having un "seasoned" freight cars.True story.
I'm fairly strict about keeping my comments directed toward Micro-Trains the company. Yes, Joe is the face of the company here, but lets not presume that I'm in it for the personal attacks or whatever this implies.
