Three PGE/BCR MLW M-630s from the Briggs Models conversion kit underway.  Mechanisms running in DC mode with Dofasco trucks; carbodies now have rear end and radiators installed.  The original noses were removed and replaced with the noses from the Atlas C-630 shells for a better fit and look:

Fuel supply car PGE 1104 with etched carbody details added and stretched Micro-Trains underframe installed:

The fuel tanks have been detailed with vent pipes made from styrene rod and breather pipes bent from brass wire.  The air bottle rack was assembled from strip styrene:

Off to the local train show tomorrow - stop by our PGE-BCR Modellers tables and say hi if you are coming!

Nothing earth shattering, but I did something today. I already lowered the boiler on a Bachmann 4-6-0 and today I narrowed the pilot and foot boards:

This is a mock up using my 2-8-0 tender shell:

I like the stance on that.

Some very nice work.  I was away in the north all week, but still managed to crank this out.  A first for me, factory paint :D :D :D :D :D  :D

I could get used to this.

David, if you haven't already started working the baggage section, I'm almost inclined to leave it off...  I'm concerned about crowding with the trackage behind the station.  If you have, then no worries.

Thanks again for this awesomeness.

Perfect timing; I was about to start on the baggage room, but I think leaving it off is a good idea given your space. I can adjust the remainder of the building easily enough.

Perfect!  At some point in the future I may add a siding for LCL freight behind the station, but we certainly don't need the baggage section for that.  In the meantime it will fit in the current space with room to spare.

DKS, I'm dying to know...  What did you use for the roof, especially the curved turret roof?  And the turret roof detail?  It's dead-on.  I have to know!
