Exactrail doing SOU Waffles in N

This looks like a really nice model - I wonder if they plan to do the version without the door opener assist.  I also hope they do the right numbers.
The color looks exactly right (I thought the HO models were too dark). 

I would definitely go for a bunch of the NS versions as well as a smattering of SOU's and possibly the shortline resale cars. I wish I could buy these locally, but this is one car I've been waiting for about 20+ years.

Oddly last night, just before I saw Andy's comment, I pretty much gave up on a project to do a fleet of foobies based on the MDC cars. This was right after I had decalled 6 cars and realized I made a massive mistake - I used Plastruct liquid cement instead of decal setting solution on the cars, essentially ruining them. I said forget it (OK, I actually said something that I would not want to repeat here) - just wait for the model and then pffftt!!!  Very cosmic.

That's the idea - replace the foobie stand-ins with the prototypical model when it arrives.

I've also got a full roster, so I'm in for just one era-appropriate SOU.
