Couldn't Help Myself... PRR Electric Switcher

So after checking out the pigeon situation, I noticed that American Archetype was doing the wheeled electric PRR switchers:

They're available now, and I couldn't help myself. I don't know WHERE I'll find a place to use it, but seeing as these things hung around B'more, I figured I'd find somewhere.

The price is a bit steep, but I think worth it to support something so cutting edge (like Bryan's White Tower).

If you have an industry large enough to need a plant switcher, put it there.  Even if it's just parked on a modern layout, it could represent "corporate history", with the industry having bought it second-hand.  A lot of plants own their own Trackmobiles, and this is nothing but a primitive version of one, without the flanged wheels.

I once saw a farm tractor with couplers used to switch a grain elevator, which, again, is the same idea.  I'm sure you can find someplace that has, or had, a use for it.

Man, that is a cool looking little vehicle!  Do you plan to put a motor in it, and power it from the track?

Mark, I don't plan to do that. That'd require a lot more talent than I have.

John, I think they might. If not the PRR one, than a B&O one.

I don't want to fake anything with it, it's such a specific model, like I said, I think it might just get painted up as the proper PRR piece and live in a diorama (where I can get used to modeling city scenes).

Right??? That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm thinking maybe that and one of the awesome FVM B&O wagon tops rounding a really sharp curve in the middle of some belgian block.
