So after checking out the pigeon situation, I noticed that American Archetype was doing the wheeled electric PRR switchers:

They're available now, and I couldn't help myself. I don't know WHERE I'll find a place to use it, but seeing as these things hung around B'more, I figured I'd find somewhere.

The price is a bit steep, but I think worth it to support something so cutting edge (like Bryan's White Tower).

   That's an interesting lil' booger Ed.....if it's out of your time period I would go with either the diorama like you mention or a small switching layout dedicated to it.

Just read the description a little more throughly and the diorama would be the best alternative since the electric switcher isn't motorized! ( -:

Can't do a switching layout. It doesn't move!

I'm thinking it'd be fun to see it getting cars handed off from my VO1000.
