PFE 89'flat/trailer runner pack (corrected from SPFE)

New - Civil war era body styles coming soon. Will work great with the Atlas 4-4-0.

The newer early-era rolling stock is a great idea! With Link and pin coupler s no less. We have several people in the shop always asking about pre-1900 cars and there isn;t very much anymore.

The Plain Jane SHPX should be pretty popular too.

Mark finally gets his black Shippers triple-dome tanker!

And (a surprise) the special-order meat reefers are on the 36-foot body instead of the originally-planned 40-foot body.

When you think about it the arrival of the Atlas 4-4-0 and now these MTL Civil War cars should mean the door is open for other aspects of the hobby to follow. People in period clothes (soldiers too), accurate structures and tons of horses and wagons just to mention a few.

Interesting!  I'm curious what the link and pin coupler will look like and how it will work.

Good to hear folks are interested in the new Civil War Rolling Stock.  We have a lot of other stuff planned for the series, so stay tuned.  We have a couple of designs we are working on for a link and pin style coupler, but what ever it is, you will be able to replace the draft gear box it is built into and replace it with a body mount MTL coupler...which one...still working on that.  New trucks as well...first the one shown and then as we get further into the program some of the other versions that were fielded.  Yep, I'm rethinking my home layout as we speak.  Bernie has been a huge help so far.
