We'll do pretty well with these. I already had one guy that specifically asked for the Southern unit and 5 ask for the CofG and this was BEFORE they were announced. Yeah, they'll do pretty well, but it will probably be a regional thing. Would they have bought it without the right cab, yes they would have but this will make it even better and I'm sure Matt will also offer them in the normal NS scheme.

As far as the right handrails and long hood. Well, it's apersonal thing I guess, but as one of our customers said, "I'm not gonna just sit there at my desk with get up close and personal with it. It's going on the layout and I'm gonna run the **** out of it. Oh yeah and he's an NS employee.

No PTC antennas on the top of the cab...

I think region will be a big factor - I would surely be in for the CNJ and LV units....  But I've got to say I like that Nickel Plate loco!!!

The four remaining GEVO schemes are PRR, LV, Interstate and original NS.  The other NS Heritage units will be EMD.

We've actually talked about buying some of the old northeast railroad ones like CNJ, Reading, and LV (if they come out in HO) and creating "modern night" op sessions, basically to throw heart attacks on the owners of some layouts,

You have to figure the straight NS units will come at some point as well.  And it's almost a given that the SD70ACE's will be done by Kato.

There is a railfan rumor (which means less validity than your normal rumor) that NS is adding 5 more roads to the program....  Apparently, positive feedback has exceeded all expectations...

Certainly it would make sense to do Eire Lackawanna - and actually there must be some part of the L&HR still in use.

There has to be some Southeastern roads left out as well - was the CNO&TP ever a separate entity?
