I figured with all the changes over the years, you would just split the layout longways and put it against the wall

Split it longways, then split those in half shortways, and you have 4 corners for your shelf layout

New banner idea: the Big Lots of model railroading.
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

I have a buyer for the Seaboard Central 2.0.  I will respect the privacy of the buyer and leave it to him to decide whether he wishes to identify himself.  While he would certainly be free to continue this thread, I would imagine that he would prefer to make the layout his own and post about its progress in a new thread.

Therefore, with that, I am signing off on this thread.  It's been a heck of a ride.  I'm very proud how the layout turned out, although it's certainly not finished.  I hope the new buyer enjoys the layout as much as I have.

So long!

When's the deal going down?

I'd love to see it once before it departs.

Within a month.  Get up here!  Bring some friends.  We can also brainstorm about the layout room and the future layout(s).

Let it be known whence you will gather. I would like to crash the party being you aren't that far from me.
