Does anyone else notice that the door and window parts that are not "dark red" seem to be a very light pink?..Or is it my monitor??..

Even if they are white(and not pink), they at least are not the same color as the main part of the building, which seems to be a light grey...

I'm glad that you mentioned that, because I need to figure out how to model that, if I'm going to install downspouts.  I assume a strip of styrene painted red, with a small hole drilled where the downspout connects, would suffice.

Use the smallest 90 deg angle with the thinnest cross section you can find, paint it first, glue it onto the edge of the roof styrene flush with the top so you can lay the shingle decals right over the joint.

Agreed.  I'll see what I can find, and, if not, I'll figure out how to best replicate the look.

I agree that it's an off-white, but don't go to a lot of trouble.  I don't have the correct types of doors on the model, so I won't be painting the doors in the two-tone scheme.

I'm not.  This is not a scale building that I'm making; it's more of an approximation.  Since the painted brick detail will be missing, as well as the entire single-story baggage wing, I'm not too worried about the small stained glass windows that no one will notice.  Besides, no one who sees my railroad in person has any idea what the prototype looks like, so I don't expect many complaints.

Grandt Line does make a window that's similar to the prototype but I'll bet it's dimensions are not the same as the one's DFF used in the dormers - p/n 8022 (fits inside opening.270 x .370 )
Then to satisfy the rivet counters you'll have to modify it and cant or offset the small inside square window - good luck with that!

Hey, that's pretty nice, @160pennsy, but, yeah, that won't fit.  I'll live with what I've got, since it's just not worth the effort, considering the other "liberties" I'm taking with this model.

The decal sheet for the roof shingles has been printed and the clear fixative spray is drying.  It looks good.  I still have to paint the structure, but, hopefully, the first application of the shingles will happen this weekend.  I can't wait to see what the color of the decal does over a gray background.  I need to stop by a local hobby shop on the way home from the office this afternoon and buy some paints (for the walls and trimwork) for the building.  I have a lot of work to do to get this structure presentable for the arrival of the M³T.

This afternoon and evening, I finished up the final details.  First, I finished up the styrene brick sheet application to the baggage room end and the rear walls, and I refit the windows and doors:





Then, I installed the drip edge on the main and dormer roofs, as well as the downspouts at each corner and on the dormer:





Hopefully, tomorrow, I can start painting.

Dave, that is SWEET! You've nailed it!
Still, I can't but wonder how to do that distinctive corner brick treatment? That would really make the building.
Maybe one of our fellow asshats could do a decal for you? All it would take is a line with the "teeth"  and you could cut it to length depending on application...
I realize your "bricks" are probably oversize, but perhaps one could use a half brick module for the decal?
