Do you have a pic with atlas c55?  It doesn't seem like any of those would fit.

Or does maybe the wide spacing fit?

I had a bazillion switches on hand except an Atlas C55. I'll have to investigate that one--if I need to make a special flavor just for them, that's no big deal at all.

I think it's basically a 'double-tie' spacing that Atlas uses on the c55 stuff.  I can measure one if you don't want to buy one.

First off, thanks...this is definitely one of the most needed details in n-scale.

Second, I'm not sure I'm on board with the others regarding integrating that into a microswitch and mechanically into the turnout.   On the prototype, these are remote actuated machine.  While I pine for a quality, durable, smaller hand throw with integrated switch/contacts, for this particular detail I don't see the necessity.  If it's in the works, great, but I would much rather you spend the time developing "CI, Jr".  My use for these models will be to laminate/attach them to a pushbutton switch that is connected to a DS64 controlling an undertable switch machine.  Then I will have local control of the turnout (also available on the prototype) as well as the ability to control it remotely via throttle or computer.

I have a question regarding the Unitrack version.  I'm assuming that the switch machine is a separate piece from the roadbed? (assumption based on: otherwise you would have to have a left and right hand version)  Is that assumption correct?  I am asking because:
1. I am considering doing something similar to above on my existing layout that uses Unitrack.   
2. I would be interested in getting just the roadbed piece to attach a tradition ground-throw detail to it for non-mainline (non-"proto powered switch machine") Unitrack turnouts.

The roadbed versions (including Unitrack) are all "kits" in that the two parts are separate. However, you don't need left and right versions. The same roadbed piece can attach to either side of the switch, according to your preference, except for Unitrack, where you can only attach the roadbed part to one side, because of the manual lever.

That said, even if the roadbed "kits" were instead pre-assembled, there would still be no need for left and right versions.

As for ground throws, I have two words. Be patient. (Right, Ed?)
