Looks like a 10-5 Sleeper and a Cafe/Bar car are the next ones from Rapido.....

10-5 Plan 4186 - CN/Erie prototype - http://www.rapidotrains.com/pan10-5.html

For all the Conrail lovers - the Rapido 10-5 model will be a dead-on replica of CR 11 in the Conrail OCS.  CR 11 of course was an ex-Erie sleeper.

They don't have undecorated listed in their newsletter, so it may take buying a decorated Erie or EL car and stripping it.  But with all of the cars in the OCS consist to kitbash and/or scratchbuild, one less is a major plus.

Prairie Shadows is a great company. Jeff Arnold is a great person to deal with. He belongs to our local N Trak club. His stand alone website Ilovetrains.ca is new in the last 5 weeks (He used to sell on ebay). Take a look at his site. CN cab will be a great seller for sure.

You're not kidding, that is great news and was completely below my radar.  I'm going to get a pair, even though my modern trains don't use them.  They'll look great in the yard and on work trains.

Yup.  CR 11 is ex-EL/Erie Spirit of Youngstown.  Wonder if they would sell if Rapido produced the car in either blue or Pullman green.  Could also do CSXT in either YN2 blue and gray or the YN3 blue...

Did he reveal the stock numbers, so they can be pre-ordered along with the decorated cars?

No, Jason did not give the stock numbers but he did say that the missing Undec info would be updated next week. --Brian

In the 1960's you coud find a number of different plan 10-5's and other types of sleepers on the CN as they were big used equipment buyers for sleepers; that said I remember Thunder Bay, one of the 10-5's Rapiso is making; I and a rail buddy used to see it at CN's Toronto coach yard and somewhere I know I have a few colour slides of it..........It's great with the CNR/CN stuff that Jason makes enough names so that I can have two green and gold cars and a few grey and black cars with different names - cool "CN transition" feature.....

The cafe car will be a must; one of each for trains is a nice addition..... The undeca wil allow for some bashin !!!!!!!!

It's a great time to be an n scale passenger modeler   ;D

Hopefully not! But not too close... 24 vans in one shot would be tough. Actually, since the CPR is also good for the TH&B, that number goes up.

The sad and unintentional result of Jason's well intended pursuit of Canadian prototypes........tragic, yet unavoidable...... :-\

LOL!!  Are there not threads elsewhere lamenting the lack of new products in n-scale....  Never been better, IMO.

Cheers
