New Nn3 tank car too. I wonder if that was left over still from the Nelson Grey stuff. Nevermind, a Z scale tank car with Nn3 trucks listed as a 'New Body Style".  ::)

SPFs rejoice!

I'm holding out for 3 domes and a plain jane black scheme:

I am rejoicing.  Is that RPO a new design?  Now just gotta wait for them to do the 12-1 (preferrably with no name).

I'm in for the Soo Covered Hopper and the Conrail 60' Box. The price opn the Pennsy cars is still very good.

Looks Like Dave Fox's Juice train just got a tad longer, and the Conrail Queens should all be rejoicing . . . or having a debate about can openers . . .

Question on the very attractive SOO scheme: what era is that scheme?

I'm in for the PRR heavyweights. (I haven't even looked at the other offering yet!) The RPO appears reasonably close to the Pennsy's M70A: http://prr.railfan.net/diagrams/mail//sm_M70a-.gif

I think I need a PRR heavyweight to go with my FEC Es... I was on the fence, but that is just so nice looking.

Actually, the broken can opener IS correct on that car (but not on any of the other foobs that Approxirail put it on). I'm also curious about that Soo car's paint scheme, and why, again, they're using the extended draft gear trucks on those hoppers.

Could probably buy two and kitbash a longer car like the M70A.

Why can't google point me to Jerrry Laboda's write-up on MTL Pullman plans and car names?

The SLTHS has a drawing of a 4427 painted with the blue band and the "Colormark" script dated to 1964. I have no idea how correct the MTL hopper is yet.
