Dave, that looks awesome. RF&P model shots are too hard to come by.
Thanks! But the reality is that I cannot even come close to the level of reality that is your scenery. You must give up your secret (and the materials list!) on how you mix and blend to create the scenic texture that you make. I look forward to your postings every week. Keep up the good work. Your layout's becoming a masterpiece.DaveP.S. Did you notice the old MDC boxcars in SBD garb? I thought you might like that. They (I've got four, actually)were a recent purchase on the 'bay.

I think your scenery is looking great!About my scenery techniques, I don't know if you've seen this or not but pages 9 and 10 of my layout thread on Trainboard covers my ground cover method pretty thoroughly.Heres a link:http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=108638&page=9And yeah, I noticed those box's. very cool scheme.
Thanks Eric, yes I am 16.
Caleb, how many other people your age do you know in the hobby? I've actually run across a fair number (it warms my mean model railroader heart to know that there will still be people supporting the hobby as I get old and decrepit).
I finished a neglected billboard.
Caleb, Chris, David and Dave should do a layout together - WOW
Hey Jan, Thanks and yes it is the first of 6 Intermodal projects that are in high gear.
Awesome...next to you, Jay looks old and too heavy!
I bought a On30 Climax and already feel it will sit in the box forever. It is sweet and runs great, did some detail mods to it, but damn it is just too big Also got a newer Bachmann USRA 0-6-0 that I plan to give the "Skipgear" treatment.
