Thanks!  But the reality is that I cannot even come close to the level of reality that is your scenery.  You must give up your secret (and the materials list!) on how you mix and blend to create the scenic texture that you make.  I look forward to your postings every week.  Keep up the good work.  Your layout's becoming a masterpiece.

P.S.  Did you notice the old MDC boxcars in SBD garb?  I thought you might like that.  They (I've got four, actually)were a recent purchase on the 'bay.

About my scenery techniques, I don't know if you've seen this or not but pages 9 and 10 of my layout thread on Trainboard covers my ground cover method pretty thoroughly.

I've met quite a few as well, like Alex and others on forums. I'll also run across fellow youngins while railfanning. I don't think were in any real danger of running out of railfans...

I also te-took photos of some of cars that I weathered that I think came out really well, especially considering I'm 20 and have only been doing weathering for a few months... I'm probably gonna use them as "inspiration" for the above cars.

I bought a On30 Climax and already feel it will sit in the box forever. It is sweet and runs great, did some detail mods to it, but damn it is just too big 

Also got a newer Bachmann USRA 0-6-0 that I plan to give the "Skipgear" treatment.
