I recently backdated to the late 1980's from more or less the current era. That move saved me the $$$ I'd spend of these  ;D

Too bad that the $$$ saved is already spent at Rapido, Bluford, etc...

yeah, the modern prototypes are gonna love these. We see 'em down here in Winder alot. That KCS scheme is really cool.

Hopefully they can keep the price down.

Know your happy John.  They are also too new for me.  Can't really tell by the photo, but are they body mounted couplers?

The photo is of a 1:1 scale coil car... so the couplers are indeed body mounted  ;D

Why would that be a problem?  If you need to build a fleet, would you rather pay $15 a piece, or $30 so you can get little bits and pieces that will break off?

I think the Trainman stuff, especially the new bodies they've done, have been perfectly acceptable.  Maybe not museum pieces, but I'm not running a museum.

I agree , except for the brake wheels on the TOFC's . I think they used HO scale .
