This should be good news for many folks.

For myself, well, I kind of "collected" a bunch over the years, and got several from Kis, so I'm pretty well set for flats.

They sure do look nice on the mailine.

Dare I consider the possibility of perhaps maybe just a slight possibility that there may be a minor chance somehow that maybe, just maybe, a 4-pack of TTX in brown might someday be possible too?

Perfect.  But I'll be holding out for the brown ones' as they are more appropriate for my era.  Oh, I also might have money to spend on trains by then, too... :-[

The yellow TT flats will work for me, Lee, as I begin to build a fleet to model the Orange Blossom Special.  Of course, I'll be jamming some Johnny Cash while running that intermodal train.  :)

MT 89' flats in brown. Hmmmm.

Let's see, in 1969 there were:

2384 GTTX cars - useful

10,000+ TTX cars -very useful

and 149 TTAX cars that MT does - not so much. LOL

I'll hold out for cars that I can actually use for my 60's pike.

Maybe if I ever saw a picture of a brown TTAX car in service I could at least justify the three I bought before I knew any better.

I hate these cars!  :o

I find the ends constantly come loose,  causing coupler/body hangups. I suspect it's not to scale "vertically" - since they don't look right - and MS decals don't fit properly. On top of that the lettering is too small  and they are missing the deck antiskid paint. Oh and they have the inflexible hitch arrangement for a 45/40 car.

I'll pass - and wait for something better from Atlas, as well as the spine cars from Deluxe.

Seriously, I can't believe you guys are getting excited over this!
