What TOFC is really missing is TrucTrain 75 foot flats . Those resin ones have warps .

staff always seems genuinely intrested everytime I suggest the DH643 as the next 'sure-fire' winner for locomotives.  Can't imagine why they haven't produced it yet.  Maybe I need to look for next months announcement, after all Atlas said 'its just a matter of time'...

Andy and people who "work with the public" see a bigger piece of the pie than individuals do. Nobody's "Right" or "Wrong", you are just seeing a very small part of the market. Remember Rudyard Kipling's story about the 5 blind men describing an elephant? 98% of "modelers" are like that. You know what you know, and it's right, but there's this great big world of non-modelers that buy N-scale trains out there.
It's like me and my buddies that do old and antique(1900's!) motorcycles. There are no mechanics who can help us, there are no parts available, so they have to be made or swapped for or paid for at prices that make N-scale brass look like bargains. I took my semi-compleated '64 Honda SuperHawk to a shop for a little part(wrapped in a piece of 1966 newspaper, covered with dust). I had EVERY person in the shop come out to see the "ancient" Honda. The young mechanics couldn't believe Honda sent the first bikes here in '58. It's a matter of perspective.

You're obviously not very sharp and require spoon feeding of what I purported in my last comment, or you like to act like a five-year-old. And if I were a contemporary five year old, I would take umbrage to that remark, at being associated with your churlish, bating playground antics.

Man, you ain't kidding.  It was intersting to see this first hand working for IMRC for two years.  I had fun traveling to shows but man some people get pretty pissed about what you offer or more importantly what you don't.  Working the manufacturers side of the table was an eye opener. 

That said, I did meet plenty of cool people too.  The first time I met Chuck at FRTs was when we were at a show in LA.  We had so much fun talking with him, IMRC wound up taking him with us to dinner.
