Guess I'll have to get a Pennsy car and reletter it for N&W. Oops, Walthers did the late Pennsy with the single below window stripe....@#$$%^^&&&!!! The N&W had three cars for Pennsy pool service.....but they had 16 smooth-side Budd sleepers.....hint, hint Kato (you need to do the PRR 10-6 as an add-on to the Broadway).

N&W used a different red than PRR anyway (N&W used it before PRR ever owned any stock).I'm almost glad Walthers spurned N&W, they probably would have gotten N&W red REALLY wrong anyway.Mark

Mark,I'm sure you're aware that the N&W Budds went to the PRR and were converted into commuter coaches in the early 60's. The PRR 22-roomette sleepers also met the same fate. They weren't fun cars to ride, especially if you got one of the windowless seats. But then, I'm an Alcohaulic with a taste for Budd-Lites.
