No, they're actually just N&W coaches... Not sure of their manufacture.  I think they're modernized heavyweights.  You were talking about the paint schemes... I posted more as an example of that then a Budd car.

Lee,
The cars in the photo appear to be a couple of the 1941 PS coaches that N&W bought for the Pocahontas. I believe they were also used in commuter service in Chicago during the 1970's. During the NS excursion days, they were referred to as OWL's.....open-window lightweights.

"N&W used a different red than PRR anyway (N&W used it before PRR ever owned any stock)."

Except on the three PRR 10-6 sleepers that were used in pool service with PRR, L&N and RF&P cars, all of which were in Pennsy paint and lettering style.

"PRR converted them to coaches and yes some ended up on MARC (I rode in some of them)."

Split between NJT and MARC.  Several survive as coaches on the circus train, though now rebuilt to the point that you would hardly recognize them.  RBBX also has ex-PRR 21 Rmt. sleepers, most of them also now heavily rebuilt.

Not sure how reliable the color rendition is on the photos of these that I've seen but the color looks like N&W red (with PRR style stripes). Will we ever know for sure?  ;)
