From the discussion on the modeling/tutorial forum on creating a website, I finally put one together in about an hour and a half using Blogger.com.

Enjoy:

Great!  I just added a link to my favorites and just last week I added a "blogs" folder.

I love your layout and have sat down and planned many never built layouts (and some partly built  ;)   )using yours for inspiration.

Nicely done! Clean, simple, attractive. I've added a link.

Ain't it cool what you can do for free?

Doug,

Fantastic work!  Your layout was a big influence on my decision to leave HO to do Pennsy in N scale.  I also have one of your B60b baggage cars.  Great stuff!

Outstanding work Doug.  I too have started a blog on Blogger at http://prralleghenydivision.blogspot.com/  Not as nice as yours yet but I am working on it.  I have left a comment on your site.

I gotta say, you big-time PRR guys give me hope that someday someone will man up and do the curve under CR... I mean, it'll be a lot easier, since you only need half the track...

But yeah, awesome stuff guys, John, you know I'm a big fan of your layout, and Doug, that is truly inspirational.

3/4 the track, that is...  after '81.  I'm doin' CR in 1980, so I can do 4 tracks.  Someday.  Don't think I can fit the Curve on a door.

Mmmm....  The Curve....  <drool>

Thanks for the kind comments.  I have found inspiration in other modeler's work and Railwire is a great way to share.

Doug.

And more track is available!!! Deconstructed much more yesterday. Have about 300 lengths of code 55 flex available to part with.

It's also great to see when a nicely done layout is photographed so well... Love the underpass and grade crossing shots especially.
