Well the Z scale layout is this far along.

Intend to do some decaling on about half dozen passenger cars today.  Nothing else accomplished.  Did attend my older sons graduation for his master in medical sciences.  Here he is on the right:

Made some headway building the town, getting some foundation work in place and fine-tuned the building placement.

Rearranged a couple of roads that looked OK on paper but would have been impossible to build in 3D. Finalized the designs for the theater (animated lighting) and firehouse (animated doors), both of which will be located in the space behind the triangular building that's roughly dead-center in this view.

Friday, I decided the B&M needed to sell one of its 0-8-0's to the Maine Central and completed the transfer Saturday! ;D  #199 represents the only 0-8-0 owned by the Maine Cental.

I went fishing:

It's not up to the modeling standards on this forum, but it is a cheap way to do water. Instead of using that expensive stuff like Envirotex or Real Water, I used $1.50 worth of clear epoxy. It doesn't react with the water-based acrylic paints either so it's easy to work with.

It looks like your water experiment produced a good result ..

Future floor polish might work also ..

We continued our never ending task of banning the color pink from out layout.

Does ordering more stuff from Chuck at Feather River count as doing something?
Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I helped with setup for the joint MARRS/Harford County HO modular display at Timonium Friday night.

I also spent a bit more time working on the folding module leg prototype during the week:

It looks like this next week, I'll get to build a "Mark 2" prototype, to try to incorporate some suggestions from the potential users at BANTrak, as well as a couple of other improvements I'd like to test.

You betcha . It's not the modeling that we like to do as a hobby , it's off loading all that dirty money . Our aim is to make him filthy rich . Nice to hear it's not all camera's and curved yellow fruit for ya .

I've had two excellent days.

First the CRHS RBQ yesterday with two blue chases...
