we went looking at model homes in the area... several floor plans we liked, but i'm never living in an HOA restricted community again.  ugh.  all this for a model railroad.

How long will it be before they show us how to add DCC to a tree?

Worked on laying more track in my staging yard. The yard has 16 tracks and two mainlines. Not quite half of the yard is laid.

Rob, isn't "prototype engineering" of benchwork, legs, etc. fun??? Like inventing the wheel...you know what you want to do, and you know what you've got(in your case, a pile of wood), now make something that works, hopefully without too many attempts. I always have wondered, did Michelangello look at a 20' tall 6'x6' square chunk of marble and see "David" inside that?
