if it was at a steeper angle..it would look like a nike swoosh!
I have done that before...good thing I was able to correct it before it was too late.

IIRC that was one of the first CR nits to get the blue scheme. On the other side the logo was level.

I remember seeing a shot of it in an old mag somewhere.... (Trains or Railroads Quarterly?)
Also neat no Conrail on the side... talk about a rush job!

At least they got the length correct, which Kato didn't do on it's C30-7.
Take a look at CR Quality locos if you want to see a "wide variety" of creative logo placements.
They were usually straight though.
