I know there are many Conrail fans here, so here is a pic I think you will like. Check out the stripes on the second unit.

if it was at a steeper angle..it would look like a nike swoosh!

I have done that before...good thing I was able to correct it before it was too late.  :P

IIRC that was one of the first CR nits to get the blue scheme. On the other side the logo was level.

I remember seeing a shot of it in an old mag somewhere.... (Trains or Railroads Quarterly?)
Also neat no Conrail on the side... talk about a rush job!

At least they got the length correct, which Kato didn't do on it's C30-7.

Take a look at CR Quality locos if you want to see a "wide variety" of creative logo placements.

They were usually straight though.
