Do all needles have seals? My Athem 155 dosen't have a seal on the needle. It friction/screw mounted. I take it out all the time when cleaning.

good diagram. i just took the airbrush apart... no plastic/teflon sealsbearings that I can find. There is one on the handle that screws off but that is aft of the air supply line and I think that revents loss of pressure on the back.

This is what the 155 looks like. Note on the parts list that the 155 and others do not feature a head washer.

I did find the teflon needle bearing, but I don;t know where it would fit on the 155:
