here we go, a GMM all-weather-window (thank you engineshop for the tip with the Tamiya tool - I was finally able to bend those little f__kers so they stay in shape and square...) and a Sunrise re-railer was added to the model. and on this picture you can see the shortened fuel tank a littlebit better.

James, this is the Tamiya tool...



...I bought this on eBay for 12.99 Tamiya Bending Pliers for Photo-Etched Parts #74067

first I did carve the etched parts along the bendings with a new x-acto #11 blade till I could barely see it from the other side (the brass turns a littlebit yellowish along the bendings) and then I did use the Tamiya tool and I was happy with the result... (...after I've destroyed at least 12 other all-weather-windows etchings from JnJ and GMM while bending with some other tools)

Though today is Tuesday, I did manage to finish Sand patch Tunnel going into this past weekend. It's nice to break up the scenery a bit....

I humbly suggest you paint your fascia board dark green or black.  That hot pink is a bit distracting.

rather "municipal yellow" to my eyes.  Not that the colour is bad or anything...

Lol... trust me, there's no pink. It's a sandstone color. Though an odd color for a layout, it was already here at the house. The lighting from the track lights make it appear different I suppose since I was standing so close.

James, this is the Tamiya tool...

May I also suggest "the bug" for folding and bending. More pricey ($40) than the pliers but its a handy tool for working with bending frets.

I too am up for black fascia boards. My upper and lower fascia boards are flat black.
