Page 42, Rail Model Journal, February 2007 (I just got it today):

Superdetailing Hy-Cube boxcars.  Including cushion underframes, underbody details, and interiors with bulkheads.  HO Scale, but I don't think that will stop some of the folks on this forum.

Lowering is no longer enough...

I don't really care too much about underframes (or toilets in my locos).

Unless my train derails (oh the shame!) :P

While I've never really been too excited about underframe details, except where they'd be visible from the side, cushion underframes are important details.

Although, with the Accumate coupler boxes, it sometimes looks like even my coal cars have cushion frames...

Aye, that's why I replace them, except for where they make sense (ie cushion frames!).

Some of the newer Accumate trucks are not cushion frame enhanced, or so it seems. If I get my sad self down to MBK and pick up my order (which includes the new USRA Rebuilt) - I guess I'll see for meself. :P
