Thanks Tom! What I thought...But if BLI can make an H32 covered hopper (I own exactly one, thinking it could have happened), why not the R50b that roamed the country....And since they are re-releasing the H32, they must have done all right with the first run, no?Good to know my brass investment wasn't misdirected Otto
I have one of those H32's also. If anyone asks, there is a shipment of carbon black or some such moving west.Anyway, if BLI decides to do an R50b, more power to them. Although, personally, if some manufacturer is considering express refrigerator cars, I have the one and only R50b I'll ever need. Now, an ATSF 4000 series (1953 steel plated version) or 4050 series, that would redirect some of my retirement income to the manufacturer.
Given the massive size of Pennsy rolling stock, it's been said we all are Pennsy modelers, or should be, at least in the pre-meltdown era.

Is that the national fleet percentages? I guess I have a hard time seeing that CGW is 10% of the national fleet and GN, IC and NP are more than PRR. That said you are right, we need more tank cars. Wish Tangent would bring theirs to N.
