Ed:  I agree.  They very seldom have anything I need, but that's because I've been collecting for 50 years, and model 1974.  Most of what I really need was made years ago, and any prototype newer than 1974 I can't use.  But there are a LOT of customers modeling newer prototypes, and others modeling earlier eras who haven't been in the hobby as long as I have, so there's no way they can make something for everybody, every month.

As long as their trucks and couplers are kept in stock, I'm satisfied!

Same here. I do wish I had gotten a few thigs while they were available like the Swift reefer car 12 packs but I have 50 SRLX cars now, how many more do I really need? I model 1947 , in the past I had little discipline and bought whatever was "neat" I since limited myself to that specific era and got rid of stuff that didn't fit.

Do you watch N Scale Supply's preowned pages?  They have quite a selection, and, occasionally, some truly rare items.

One of the great things (among so many others) about MicroTrains is that they will consider doing cars that you want if you have the info about them. I model the NWP during the 50's and supplied the data and photos for one of the overnight cars they did as well as the Hercules 'reefer' and tank car. So while they haven't been doing much (lately) that I'm excited about, I could always provide the info and try to convince them to do something I do want.

Hey MT, are you interested in a NWP billboard wood caboose with orange ends? LMK as I have the info ready to go.

Are the Pullman Standard Milestone cars based on cars that actually road the rails?  All I can find online are other models (in various numbers and various prototypes) in similar paint schemes, but I can't find any photos of prototypes. I also could not find a "PSX" reporting mark- but maybe I did not look in enough places?

If anyone can point me toward photos or articles about any cars Pullman used for advertising or otherwise recognizing these milestones, I would be thankful.  I suppose George Irwin's newsletter for June MTL announcements will be out in the near future.
