Gentlemen , When these roofs first came out they were advertised as for Con Cor Rivarossi Cars. I sent away for a large batch, they were molded in solid black I used them to replace coach roofs, combine roofs and baggage car roofs on my Con Cor Portland Rose train set and extra cars. I used the best ones not needing filing work or showing any warping and have I believe four left that I rejected. The roofs are held into the cars with tape, they were never a tight press fit, and I saved all the original Rivarossi Roofs incase I wanted to restore the set back and sell it. I carefully cut (razor / zona sawed) the attached window material from the Rivarossi roofs to re insert to provide the car windows. I still have an unused in the package Camden & Amboy hard black resin boiler shell to replace the Trix PRR 2-10-0 boiler shell with a longer one where the steam chests lined up with the cylinders, and I built four Camden & Amboy B&O Wagon Top body shells, on Atlas boxcar under frame's and lettered with CDS Dry Transfer's .
