Hi guys, thanks for all your comments about my designs. A lot of your questions about my models can possibly be answered by taking a look at them on the Shapeways website. Please go to www.shapeways.com/ and search for dry bulk or lpg or MSW trash. My Shapeways designer name is baztrains. If you find one of my models, in the top right you'll see some small images of my other designs. To the right of these you will see a button with a double-arrow. Click o this and it will take you to my model pages. Use the shop selection menu to select just the N scale 1/160 models. I hope this helps. Barry

Hi all and thanks for your kind comments. Can I ask you to take a look at my models on the Shapeways website if you have any questions, as you may find the info you need on there. Use their search system and look for dry bulk, lpg, msw trash, and you should find some of my designs (my designer name is baztrains. Once you click on a design look in the top right of the page to find small images of more models, to the right is button with a double-arrow. Click this and it will take you to my pages. Then use the shop selection filter to see all my N scale 1/160 models. Some had not been set-up for sale, but they should be now. Thanks again. Barry

Barry,

One thing that will help those of us who model earlier than contemporary is some indication when the models started in production.  I see one you labelled as a "1960's Freuhauf" (THANK YOU!) and the rest are unmarked.  I model 1969 so anything labelled '60s will work for me (thinking about pushing that to '73) but lots of us are sticklers for dates, so a firm year rather than "1960's" would be even better. 

Any '60s cabs coming our way?  We've got all these 60s and 70s Trainworx trailers and few choices in terms of what to pull them with.

I think you guys would probably know the years for these trailers better than I would, seeing as I'm a 'Limey' living on the other side of the 'pond'. The decade for the Fruehauf is only know as I was sent the actual sales lierature. Most of my other models are based on photos or drgs from the web, and usually these don't always have dates. There are a few places that sell the actual prototypes, and they do list the year of manufacture for the item. But of course that particular trailer could be an early or a late example of that model. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Picked up one each of the 1040 and the 1625's, any suggestions on decals for these, or are plain Janes common?

I've seen plenty of plain janes running around, maybe just a trailer number on the ends and some reflective tape along the sides
