You need some green and black, lol. How are you doing your walkways? Reason I ask is maybe you guys have some up with something better than disassembling, masking, and spray painting.

I think you'd be OK just to weather the black walkways to gray/dirt. Here's a new SD40-2, and you can see how dark the walkways had already become.

I had always though BN's walkways were black, but this photo for some reason has me second guessing. Except for the spots of blue, it's almost the same color as some pictures of the walkways on BN units.

packer,i will be getting green and black locos soon,SD-45's however they will become nys&w(suzy Q ) paint outs.the walks ways were brush painted i removed the shell from the walk ways, while they were opened up they all got lubed and tuned-up most will get detail parts and weathered, i might pick -up one more conrail loco tonight(C40-8) then i'll start buying other road names,i have to get at least one norfolk southern unit or Bigford will sneak into my house and start patching my conrail units lol
