I spent what time I could this weekend doing samples of waterfront weathered wood.  I'm working on a Campbell pier kit so I need to do a lot of weathered wood. I'm still learning my new camera so the photos isn't great.

Lee.

Somewhere in my stash I've got 1 or 2 of those autoracks.  Not needed in the era I plan on modeling.  Soon as I find them, there yours.

I learned that I'm fairly ignorant about wood running boards on steel cars ...

And that front couplers on Kato F7s are a PITA to remove.

Got 2 of them.  Both triple deck  but 2 different models entirely.  One PRR (natch) and the other is a PC green color but I removed the name years ago (either NYC or PC).  The green one does not have any cars but I know you'll find some.

Thanks, Bob.  But I don't do anything with the racks.  I've got plenty of nice MT ones.  I only salvage the autos then either sell the empty rack or chunk it depending on its condition.
