Late entry... Got another set of trees built and planted them on the curve module. I still haven't added bushes, weeds, vines and other misc. stuff, but it is coming along:

and a macro closeup using Helicon Software...

Holy bushes, batman.. that could pass for a proto pic!  Nice work.   What's your recipe??

Wow - some amazing work this week!

While it's well past the weekend, I just wanted to give a quick update on the Thrall units I posted last week, mostly to acknowledge the help of Roland Ruesch, aka engineshop.  After seeing how lousy the reporting markings looked on my first try (based on piecing together some Microscale letters/numbers), I sought his help to print some custom markings and he took the time to match the font from the photos that pfs posted last week (thanks again, pfs) and to size them based on some measurements of a Walthers unit that he had.  The decals arrived Monday, and the results are shown below.  The A unit (bottom) has his markings (BRAN and 4736), the B unit (middle) was my first attempt.  Much better now - thanks Roland!  (The E unit on top has had a fade coat applied and awaits final weathering.)

By the way, his decal business goes by the name HelveticaRR Decal: http://usloki.tripod.com/nhodecal.htm.

P.S. Anyone have a good tip for removing decals?  ;)
