Thank you!  The MT car seems to match the prototype photo fairly well and that would be a unique colour on my layout, other than perhaps an early Railbox.  Will look for a single car.

Go with MDC/Athearn model over MTL, MTL is "vertically compressed" to overcompensate for the ride height.

I would love to have an SP&S boxcar; that was a railway I almost modelled way back when.  The problem is that I cannot find any of these Exactrail cars online anywhere.  Looks like they came and went a long time ago and most people are hanging on to them.

MT also made their DSD car in SP&S green, which, as far as I know, the SP&S never had.  It follows the Gunderson car's paint and lettering, though, so looks reasonable.  Since I assume you want prototypical cars, you might want to watch for, and avoid, that one.
