and?

I think that nscalesunshine was giving us an example of what kind of business one of those ultra-high-feedback buyers could be.  Fascinating! It also explains a lot. It is not a bastard but a Borg:  He buys for many in the collective.  :D

I can now more fully appreciate that saying, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste".

I've sold numerous items to those Japanese buying services - always Buy-It-Now, since I don't do auctions...

At any rate they pay right away and have never been a problem at all...

The last S-1 sold, evidently to a "normal" individual.

And now another one is up: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251295162642?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Current high bid appears to be a dealer/robo-bidder/whatever.

  This is one of the reasons I don't shop as much as I use to on Ebay anymore. Deals are hard to comeby because of these dealer/robo-bidder/Bastards/whatever. their has been a lot of stuff I have either bid up to fair price, and watched it explode to stupid levels, or simply watched, and seen the same happen.

More PRR goodness just listed:

Dunno how rare it is, but I'd sure love to have the kind of money to pick up something like that.

I have hopes set on snagging a good (read: under $300) deal on a PRR H class, especially since all the reasonably priced (read: under $50) B-mann consolidations that are either DCC-Ready or DCC-Equipped have vanished... plus, the source I was counting on to get me one on the extra-cheap can no longer get them at anything other than list price. And to think I have all the shell parts cut and waiting...
