You can blame the archtect when he or she is as anal as Mr Wright was. Everything was built to his specific instructions. I once toured a Wright house where the sheets on the trapizoidal bed were specifically made to his designs. EVERYTHING is built in his buildings (residential and commercial) to his requirements. As far as leaks are concerned, the Johnson Wax building in Milwaukee still has a leaky roof after 70+ years.
