behind the dry bar...

i have updated the ballast since then, but the super trees match the backdrop pretty well.

Not so sure about the "Elk on Steroids" look, but hey, ya know what i always say... "SHADUP-N-Run Deem Der' TrainZ"

looks like a good photo spot .. lots of light .. as far as the elks .. put some ground foam on the tree armatures and it will go away .. if you want them to be leafless, then spray paint gray

Late to the party but this is what I've been working on....kind of a parallel project to the WOT head end...

Two of the latest Geoff Gooderham offerings; the ubiqutous Canadian Pacific Railway 60' wooden side truss rod baggage express cars. There were untold numbers of these and they ran right into the early 1970's on branches... often looking as good as they did the day they were built due to repaints and really fine maintenance... I've got two sanded, primed, grab ironed..(is that a word ?) and ready to be airbrushed that CPR wooden varnish tuscan that is a serious pain in the rear end to match..... :P

They will ride on those Athearn trucks with FVM wheels, but with body mounted couplers (I haven't hacked the truck mount off yet.) I have a bit more filling and sanding left but the process is going well enough...

Very unique CPR car, to say the least....

We're still working on them. Will mention it as soon as they're solidified.
