Maybe it could be something like the Pullmans where we have an undec that's already painted with dim data and nothing else.  That would make marking them easier..?

That would certainly work for me Joe.

With the runners packs we have a means to get more cars out there.  If I could justify doing sets of 8 or 12 or more, I'm sure we would do that, but I doubt the sales volume is there....but you never know!!   ;D   Maybe it could be something like the Pullmans where we have an undec that's already painted with dim data and nothing else.

It might just be me, but I think the 100 ton hopper car done as a Runner Pack in dimensional data might be a good seller.
I’m not here to argue

They would sure get my money for at least a couple sets anyway.

It's nice to see Micro-Trains moving deeper into the modellers community. That's a huge sign that N scale is moving beyond although it may also mean the collector series cars may not be selling as well as they used to.

From a dealers P.O.V, I don;t know if runner packs of dimi-data only would sell as well as just the single cars mainly because what's the point. Save on the cost of the box and let the customer choose how many they want to get.

Agreed.  No reason for a Runner Pak on dimi-data cars.  The Pullman-lettered 10-1-2 this month and 12-1 next month are perfect examples.

You have a good point, I hadn't thought of it from a dealer's perspective.

I was looking at it more in terms of open hopper cars usually travelling in large groups, therefore, runner packs being a natural for them.

I'd have to drop into the band wagon of no runner packs if a painted, dimi data car is released.. That would be cool!

...  We do now stock all of our cars undecorated...so if you like something you could decal them yourself...micro scale has a bunch of markings to choose from.....

More to follow

Cheers

Joe

And that was my first thought, sweet.

That's a small start. Add to that Peavey, Pillsbury, Illinois Cereal, Cargill, Milwaukee Road, CNW, RI, etc.
