Of course it's a guard rail Pete , why I wrote frog is toad-elly weird . So if that car is normal , not staged , and given how spic N span she is would date the picture within a few years of the cars birth year . Who knows what year it is ? I think around 1928 ish maybe .
I seem to recall that you were going to cast these. Is there a post somewhere? I am curious how you dealt with the bottom sill since it isn't flat.Looks good.

The key/ yulim/kato fef Santa fe 4-8-4 is coming along nicely although i don't really like the pilot. Maybe I'll make a new one. Adam Draskovich (Attachment Link)

I finished detailing and repainting a pair of Precision Scale brass PRR N8 Cabin Cars. I'm much happier with the stand-off details (some of the grabs where flush against the body) than the factory-applied ones. I also replaced the trucks with Atlas 50-ton Bettendorf trucks and FVM metal wheels. (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link)
