As the N-Scale Convention gets underway I wanted to get a thread started for sharing any and all updates, pictures, event coverage, etc!

We look forward to seeing everyone in Milwaukee!

Same here best wishes.
Can't make this year but am already waiting for the location announcement for next year.
I'm especially disappointed to miss the Modutrak layout. I've been admiring it from afar for some time.

Well the "All Day" layout tour started off well. (Tuesday).
I was helping host the 2nd stop on that tour.  (Wendy's Badgerland Southern).
From the participant's reviews, they did like the 1st stop and the 2nd.

After that, I caught up with two of our visitors from out of town. (Texas).
And gave them a tour of the Milwaukee Area.
We caught one train on the CPKC and three on the CN, at Duplainville.
Stop at Hiawatha Hobby in Waukesha.
Visited the Tri-Co. club and the RB Rail layout in Racine.
And ended up giving them a private tour of the Ford City Northern..

A Very Good Day!!  :D

In the meantime, the latest issue of RMC has some of Keith Kohlmann's outstanding photography to hold you over.

Unfortunately due to work obligations, I will only be able to make it down for the public show Friday afternoon.  The layout tours would have been awesome to see.

I helped host the MNSE (Milwaukee N SouthEastern) layout in Cudahy, Wisconsin.  We got a nice turnout.

I also got to add my "modified" 2013 Banquet Car, to one of the show trains. I had added some blocking to the car, back in 2013.
For the 2026 visit, I added more blocking and a pair of Wisconsin "Cheeseheads", wearing.... Cheesehead hats..  :P

The car comes fully equipped with a Crate of Beer (Lienies") and Pretzels.  To go with the Cheese....

Looks like ST is dominating the "announcement" realm (ES44 Rivet and SD70ACE FVM).

Tangent stated around Christmas that they'd have a new N freight car in 2026, but maybe they will wait for the NMRA.

Manufac breakfast is tomorrow AM I think.

FWIW, there was nothing in the ScaleTrains email today about the SD70ACe....

Fascinating, the info was posted here in the ES44 thread:

I guess that was an old, superseded announcement.  :?

Not hard to dominate a announcement field of one!

I ordered a pair of ST ES44’s otherwise it seems like the convention was a bust for announcements. I saw Lowell’s foobie passenger car. Is that it?

No news from Micro-Trains by Atlas?

No announcement from BLI?

No Intermountain?

I had hoped for something more. The GEVOs will be nice and once again ST gets my $$.

Oh, well.
