I'm a little surprised that it's part of a National Limited announcement instead of a Columbian announcement, but I'll take it.

No. I think one coach is in a museum in Cincinnati, but I don't think they lasted too long past the early Amtrak days.

I notice on the website that Lowell is calling this a 'prototype' model.  Is this new tooling?  I pulled out one of my Walthers coaches (I don't have any since he bought the line from them- is his production different than the Walthers originals?) and the photos he has up on is website of the B&O prototype cars are certainly similar, but not an exact match in terms of window size/locations.  Of course, sometimes such things change over the life of a car.  I'm just curious if the model is truly 'prototype' or if perhaps a new paint job on the NYC car.

I gave up rivet counting when I couldn't see an N scale rivet anymore.

I think Lowell meant to say Classic, as this posted in the description.
These cars are similar to the RailSmith large window coach so a natural choice.

Glad I got my money back on the CSX executive coaches, doubt they'll see the light of day now
