Bennington Curve, PA

Anyone know an easy way to get back to Bennington, Curve, PA.   A trail, dirt road etc ? I been google earthing it and it looks like maybe a dirt road and or trail.  I'll give one guess why I ask.

Plan for you and 200 of your closest friends, no matter how deep into the woods it is. Take it from somebody with 50 years of experience chasing steam. A lot of the "Don't dos!" on UP's schedule page is clearly a result of railfan shenanigans, including some of my own.

I've not been, but I'll offer my google sleuthing and maybe you see what I see. Google Maps shows a paved section of Birds Eye Road ending in a parking area. Following the dirt road on to near the curve it's a 1.2 mile walk. You'd be on the dirt road almost all the way. It parallels the railroad grade, so it shouldn't be too much incline. Not sure about the last 500 feet or so, may require walking off a trail. I'll guess there is a social trail or two already; if not, just look for the other people with the same idea.
