I was not doing PRR in N scale back in 2019 when this was introduced...
But I haven't seen it on the aftermarket. Looks like the standard Micro-Trains heavyweight baggage car (which, with Keystone Details door overlays, makes a decent PRR B70) but with a round roof that looks very Pennsy. The description Micro-Trains gives for this car is:
"This 70’ heavyweight baggage car is tuscan red with keystone logo and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks. Built in the 1900s for Reading Railroad, this baggage car was later obtained by Pennsylvania Railroad. PRR was one of the largest Class 1 railroads until the 1968 merger with NYC to form Penn Central."Is this an actual one-off from the Reading? I can't find any information about it. In my limited research I didn't find any B70s with round roofs. So was this a single car the PRR bought from the Reading, or a subclass of cars? The Scotchlite keystones on the side are clearly too late for my 40s-mid-50s era but I'm OK with that. I just want to learn more about this car before I search the ends of the Earth for it.
